Welcome

Hello. Welcome to Pete's Astronomy Corner.

I live in Southwick near Brighton on the south coast of the UK. Not the best place in the world to persue a passion for astronomy, but I have to make do.

This website is always 'under construction'. It will expand to include details of my adventures in astronomy as well as some 'Images' of the night sky as and when I take them.... However, living where I do, this may be a slow process!

Please click the links on the left to explore this website.

The 'Equipment' page lists some of the equipment I currently own along with a list of the software I use to control it all, along with software to process image data. Links are provided for some of this software.

New - Please try out the Mini-AstroViewer applet on the 'What's Up' page to see a sky chart for your location. Here you can also see the current position of the International Space Station with a link to get timngs of visible passes for your location.

New - Please check the 'What's On' page for any local astronomical events.

If you have any comments about this site, please take the time to sign my guestbook.

Thanks, and please visit again soon.
